The Grump, created by author Tuomas Kyrö, is one of the best-loved literary characters in Finland. After hugely successful books, movies, radio shows and theatrical plays, the Grump still thinks that no change is needed for anything. The author Kyrö has had enough! The stubborn old-timer from a small town in Finland is called to the author’s study in Helsinki, the busy capital, and instructed to make eight field trips. Everybody learns something when the Grump rumbles through the urban rap scene, hipster distilleries and chic restaurants serving edible insects.
